Description

As the Department for Medicaid Services continues to examine use of Managed Care models to improve health outcomes and contain healthcare costs, DMS is building a team of qualified and experienced managed care professionals in the specific areas of management, financial examination, quality assurance, statutory accounting, actuary services, data collection, and auditing.
GENERAL JOB DUTIES:
The individual in this position will work with contracted actuarial firms to assist in providing professional advice, reports, actuarial analyses, and related data pertinent to the administration of managed care organizations, their actuarial soundness, adequacy of premiums, and compliance with laws and regulations.
