Description
Responsible for the smooth transitioning of newly hired Medicaid Representatives in Medicaid billing.  Serve as a technical resource for new hires ensuring that they receive consistent orientation to the department during their probationary period and forward.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

·         Performs all job functions within the department and does production work when not involved with training.

·         Work with new Medicaid employee in the use of the billing software.

·         Work with the Training Department / Team Management to prepare and update training materials as needed for department specific training.

·         May need to develop specific procedure documents if one does not exist.

·         Provide ongoing QA feedback during probationary period, individual and group.

·         Ensure that new hires are learned in AMR policies.

·         Integrate the training class into the Medicaid billing processes.

·         Working with QA, supervisors and department manager, act as resource person for trainees and Medicaid billing personnel.

·         Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

·         Effective information systems security is a team effort involving the participation and support of every AMR employee who deals with information and/or information systems. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems

Requirements
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 18 years of age. Minimum of 6 months Medicaid Billing experience preferred.  Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and policies within the Medicaid Billings Departments. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Microsoft Office experience preferred.  Excellent presentation skills to convey information to trainees.  Basic math skills.  Must be able to problem solve and arrive at logical conclusions.  Able to perform duties within tight time constraints and handle large volumes of work.  Able to work cooperatively in a team atmosphere.  Advanced computer skills. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.STRESS FACTORS:Occasionally:  Repetitive tasks, high pressure
