U.S. Medicaid Expert
The Washington Resource Group (WRG) is seeking experienced legal expert to
- develop market-differentiating intellectual capital on key topics in the federal and state Medicaid area and
- work with Mercer consultants and other experts in providing legal and related consulting assistance to states and other clients of Mercer.
The candidate’s legal expertise should relate to strategy, policy, technical, and operational support and experience with the Medicaid program, at the federal and/or state level. This experience should include the design and implement of new initiatives and programs; managed care; health, disability, and long-term care; low income populations; waivers; data systems; and the private health plan market (association plans, health accounts, employer plans). Familiarity with health care marketplace – employers, states, providers, insurers, administrators, federal and state programs – is a must.
